Become helps students succeed. Our team aims to make an extremely accessible product, while also providing a premium experience. The product is evolving which requires careful balance between product vision, business objectives, and audience needs. As sole designer, I am responsible for everything from brand development and management to product research, design, prototypes, tests, and builds.
Interface customers are doing more of their design process online. Our team at Peopledesign completely redesigned the product specification experience for interface.com. Interviews with interior designers, sales reps, and other stakeholders provided understanding of their process and needs. I designed product browsing and filtering tools, product configuration and visualization tools, and digital marketing content for the web. The core experience had a lifespan of nearly 10 years.
At GVSU, two departments were merging into one— Communications, and Art and Design. A commitee representing each department worked together to create a unified brand which attracts prospective students, while meeting the guidelines of University Marketing. I served as lead designer for the rebrand which resulted in a brand system and tangible deliverables for promotions and events.
